Due to the current wildfire danger and extremely dry conditions, a burn ban is in effect.

We understand that campfires and outdoor burning are a part of summer in Minnesota, but right now it only takes one spark to start a wildfire that can threaten homes, businesses, and the men and women working to protect our communities.

Please help us keep everyone safe by: ā€¢ Not burning brush or debris ā€¢ Avoiding recreational campfires where prohibited ā€¢ Properly disposing of ci******es ā€¢ Avoiding activities that create sparks in dry vegetation

Our firefightersā€”and crews from across the stateā€”are already working tirelessly to protect lives and property. The best way you can help is by following the burn ban and encouraging others to do the same

The city of tower will NOT be displaying fireworks this year!

If anyone can help with clothing and personal hygiene items for the ladies that have been displaced by the fire at Katherineā€™s House in Eveleth yesterday, the ladies are staying in the tower area. Sizes needed are large -4xl. They can be dropped at my house in tower or I can pick up.
