Yesterday, Jackson Memory Funeral Home was blessed with the opportunity to serve the family of Mrs. Sylvia Tiggs with a beautiful graveside service.

It was an honor to stand alongside her loved ones as they gathered to celebrate her life, cherish her memories, and say their final farewell. During such a difficult time, we are grateful for the trust placed in us to provide compassionate care and support to the Tiggs family.

May the precious memories of Mrs. Sylvia Tiggs continue to bring comfort and peace to all who knew and loved her. Our thoughts and prayers remain with her family and friends during this time of bereavement.

Sylvia Tiggs, 69, of Huntsville, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2026. Public viewing will be Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at Jackson Memory Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. There will be a graveside service at Winston-Tiggs Cemetery on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., followed by burial. Minister Dwight Tiggs will be officiating.

There are no words that can truly express how grateful we are to the family of Mr. Robert Scruggs for placing your trust in Jackson Memory Funeral Home during such a difficult time.

It was an incredible honor to celebrate Mr. Scruggs' life and legacy with a service that reflected the man he was. Witnessing him receive the military honors he so proudly earned was a touching reminder of his service and sacrifice to our country.
