There are many reasons people avoid composting; no space, concern about pests, climate too dry, climate too wet, too much work.

Welcome to CeresCycle! CeresCycle provides ways to recycle food waste back to the soil and, in so doing, complete a food circularity. Transforming this page at this time is appropriate as we crossed the vernal equinox on March 20th transitioning from winter to spring and the beginning of a new growing cycle in the northern hemisphere. Ceres is the roman goddess of agriculture hence, CeresCycle. The rescuing of her daughter, Proserpina, from the underworld explained the seasons; spring, summer, fall, winter. It’s been pretty hard riding so far and I reckon I’ve got a thing or two to learn from these guys - I wish I could last as long without water!

First part of this stretch is over to Beyneu, but now it’s 500km in 40C heat, into a headwind and only 2 villages to get to Nukus in Uzbekistan! This will be tough!
