Some of you may have noticed I have not been posting much. It’s been a very difficult time for me personally and medically and I’m working on regaining balance and peace in my life. At this point I’m taking it day by day finding little pieces of happiness and consistency wherever I can. I don’t exactly know what my path is yet, I just know I’m proceeding intentionally and with a focus on what’s best for me and my kids.
I couldn’t have gotten through these past few months without my family, friends, restorative yoga .fit , my book club and just books in general. 📚And also, let’s be honest 💚🧡
Surrounding myself with things that bring calm and happiness to my life has been vital. Having a home that is tidy and organized and peaceful is a major part of that. It’s like coming home to a big hug at the end of a long day. It’s knowing what to expect and being able to rely on that. It’s safety. It’s a foundation I’ve built for myself so I can move forward.
This little nook of my home is my favorite spot. It’s all my food art from my travels and artists I follow. I keep adding to it and it brings me such happiness every day.
For anyone else going through it right now, sending you peace, hugs, and support. 🩷
