It’s time for another edition of “meet the team!” In the hot seat this week is our winemaker, Joe.

Like so many of us in the wine biz, Joe’s educational background is storied and diverse (not just one, but TWO degrees from Michigan State University - psych and business). He’s been in the northern Michigan winemaking scene for almost 30 years, so if you’ve been a fan of NoMi wine you’ve undoubtedly enjoyed a bottle of something that Joe’s had a hand in. An inveterate thrill-seeker, he loves the roller coaster nature of cool climate wine production (you kinda have to, right?). Oh, and he loves Pinot Noir.

And like any winemaker worth his salt, he’s got some cool new stuff in the works. Stop by and try some of his creations, won’t you?
