Grand Traverse Industries GTI strengthens and advances the dignity and opportunities of people with disabilities. Part of this includes plastic bag manufacturing.

Grand Traverse Industries provides job training, supported employment and day programs to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Our programs are managed by our two locations located in Traverse City and Mancelona, Michigan. Additionally, we provide services to hearing impaired/deaf clients through our LIS’N Program.

Today we say goodbye and a big thank you to Paige, an Occupational Therapy student from GVSU College of Health Professions who just completed her Vocational Training Level I Fieldwork at GTI! 💙🎓

Over the past four months, Paige had the opportunity to work alongside our Team Members and learn firsthand what a Community Rehabilitation Organization like GTI does each day.

Paige was amazing! Our Team Members loved having her here. She was eager to learn, always willing to pitch in, and brought a positive attitude every day.

We wish Paige all the best as she continues her education and thank her for choosing GTI to learn more about working with people with disabilities. We know she has a bright future ahead!
