Peninsula Fire is staffed 24/7 and has 3 station spread across the township to ensure rapid response to all emergencies throughout. Your Peninsula Township Fire Dept. wants to remind parents to keep personal information limited when sharing 1st Day of School Photos.

Before posting your photos please keep your children’s safety in mind and try to avoid any personal information such as:

• Child’s Full Name
• The School Name and or Location
• Teacher Information
• Physical Descriptions such as age, gender, height and weight.
• Other details that can be used to identify who your child is and where they go to school.

🚨Car seat recall! 🚨

Evenflo is recalling certain Revolve180 Litemax NXT child seats manufactured through March 31, 2025.

Due to a miscalibrated level indicator, the child in the car seat could be seated more upright than intended.

A child not reclined properly can increase the risk of injury in a crash.

Owners will be notified by mail beginning September 1, 2026. A remedy is currently under development.

We only have a limited amount. Please provide proof of residence.

Also, we still have safety bike flags from Riding for Ryan.

Please let us know if you would like one. These help allow drivers to see some of the smaller bikes such as a kids bike.

Your Peninsula Township Fire Dept is excited to announce an amazing partnership with Noxgear.

We have such a large population of our community who run and bike in our beautiful township.

It is important to us to help keep our residents safe when they are out enjoying the beautiful views that the Peninsula has to offer.

So, we will be offering a very limited number of the Noxgear Tracer 2. This is one of their top vest designs, that helps the wearer be more seen during low light conditions.
The only size we will have is the M/L. Please refer to the photo in this post for the sizing details.

When supplies run out, we will continue our partnership with this great company and will provide the vest at a discounted rate for our township residents.

To qualify to receive your free vest, we ask that you are a Peninsula Township resident.

PS: We understand that runners and cyclists on our roads can cause mixed reactions.
However, our main goal for this partnership is to provide resources that will help our runners and cyclists be more visible and safe.

Here is the Peninsula Township Fire Department's run volume for July of 2026 compared to July of 2025. July of 2026 was the busiest month for the department in the last ten years. Hope everyone has a great day.

Congrats to Lt. Sarber and Lt. Adams for completing Fire Officer 3 certification. This was many hours of classes and projects that will assist them in becoming better leaders and managers in the fire service. The department commends them for their dedication and leadership as well as their willingness to continue their education to be the best officers they can. Great job!
