LOCAL LAWYERS TO PROVIDE FREE WILLS AND POWERS OF ATTORNEY TO VETERANS ON VETERANS DAY Annual “Wills for Veterans” program honors area veterans with free estate-planning services TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. — In honor of Veterans Day, volunteer attorneys through the Grand Traverse-Leelanau-Antrim Bar Association will once again provide free estate-planning services to veterans as part of the annual Wills for Veterans program. The program will be held Wednesday, November 11, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Traverse Area District Library, 610 Woodmere Avenue in Traverse City. The final intake will be at 4:00 p.m. Veterans participating in the program may receive, at no cost: • A Last Will and Testament • A Durable Power of Attorney • A Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care/Designation of Patient Advocate, with assistance graciously provided by volunteers from Munson Healthcare “Veterans have given an extraordinary measure of service to our country and our communities. This is one small way our local legal community can say thank you by providing veterans with important estate-planning documents and peace of mind.” — Lawrence R.
