Simple Solar Low maintenance solar water heating systems with a focus on recycled materials and low cost of installation. Creative home energy improvements. Message me!

Greetings and salutations, future heroes of the environment! I'm Caul. I built my first solar water heating system in 2005 using an old electric water heater tank that I dragged out of the woods, and with less than $500.00 in parts, put together a system that saves me nearly $600.00/year. I have spent the years since tweeking and optimizing the system, while expanding the basic concepts to create

variations that fit nearly any household's needs and budget, while increasing property value. (Let's not forget the annual tax credit!)
I am currently pursuing my applied science degree in renewable energy and HVAC, while assembling several thermo-syphoning units that require absolutely no energy input, and circulate using the basic principal that heat rises. They will be available in the spring/summer of 2013
Solar energy is easy. Solar energy is effective. Solar energy will save our environment and YOUR money! Let me show you how Simple Solar can be!

Today I replaced 200' of 3/4" polypipe tubing in my solar water heating panel after about 12 years of abuse. I originally used the cheaper (100 psi) tubing to save money and it started to spring some leaks in the last few years. Replaced with 160 psi tubing and gave it some fresh flat black paint.
The old polypipe will be repurposed in low-pressure gardening applications. Free hot water season is back baby!!

So called "Wind Turbine Syndrome" complaints in Australia are practically non-existent for over a decade... Until a well funded political group began their campaign to help the oil industry destroy its competition.

People who host wind turbines on their properties and derive rental income from wind energy companies have important stories to tell about living alongside turbines, but they’ve largely been absent from…
