Bonobo Winery located at 12011 Center Road, Traverse City, Michigan and within ten miles of downtown Traverse City is the ninth and newest winery on the very popular Old Mission Peninsula Wine Trail. Bonobo Winery is a one-of-a-kind, experience-rich purveyor of artisan wines. The tasting room and processing facility opened in December of 2014. Wines are estate-grown and made on site; they will be high quality and limited in quantity. Varietals to include: Sauvignon Blanc, Sparkling Blanc de Blanc and Rosé, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc. Bonobo Winery is a unique place to visit for a glass of wine, a light snack, a tasting or special event. With amazing views, excellent wines and a rustic yet, elegant atmosphere, Bonobo is a “must visit” for tourists and locals alike. Bonobo Winery is bringing an approachable new appreciation of Michigan wines and wineries to all who visit. It is welcoming, not bewildering; relaxed, not rushed; glasses, not sips; sophisticated, not salesy. Bonobo is a place you can’t wait to get back to with wines you can’t wait to share with friends and family. At Bonobo Winery the philosophy is to embrace the beauty, charm and sanctuary of Traverse City- home to several successful festivals, popular wineries and amazing restaurants, stunning scenic views, and limitless outdoor activities and attractions. All staff of Bonobo Winery strives to help our guests get the most out of their visit to the area. This will include recommendations of wineries and restaurants to enjoy, natural and historic sites to visit, and activities to enjoy both on and off the area’s beautiful lakes.

The last long weekend of summer is upon us and we're going to take full advantage.

We'll be popping bottles of our ✨10th Anniversary Sparkling Magnums✨ all weekend long. Normally it's available for purchase by the bottle only, but you can enjoy tastes and glass pours of these big beautiful bubbles all weekend long. 🥂🍾
