Before 247 East Front Street became home to Base Camp Trenton, it had already been part of Trenton’s working history for generations.

We recently came across this 1987 Trentonian article featuring our building and the story of two carpenters and builders, D. I. Cubberley and Charles W. Kafer, who lived at 247 and 249 East Front Street in the late 1800s. Cubberley was listed at 247 East Front by 1889 - the address Base Camp calls home today.

More than a century later, people are still coming through these doors to work, build businesses, and create something of their own. Pretty cool to think about.
