Throughout our years in business, we have met countless people with countless stories. One way or another, the conversation always comes up about our business, our capabilities, and other companies in the business. Well, id like to share our story with you!
My name is Eric Kempski. Im a 3rd generation Weldor (interesting side note: Weldor is the person, Welder is the equipment). My Grandmother was a weldor for the WW2 war effort in Buffalo, NY. My father started his own welding some 40 years ago, and I was basically raised in the industry. I was taught the ins and outs by my father, as well as many many greats of the industry. As a kid, I would stay awake on job sites as long as i could, falling asleep to the rumble of an SA200. I grew physically VERY fast, so i received numerous opportunities many others had to wait for. At the ripe old age of 10 i was promoted from grinder to torch, and started striking arcs soon after. I wouldnt have passed x ray, but it was a big step on a long road.
Through my years, both as a Weldor and Mechanic, the failures, the repairs, side of the road fixes, etc are uncountable. I have saw and been inside the workings of the giant corporate machine, and honestly-we have headed in a direction, as a nation, that tries VERY hard to pull us away from the old ways. Good work, service, etc. One day i thought it was time to challenge the system; provide excellent work, outstanding customer service, all at a fair price. I decided to put my knowledge to use, and went into business for myself.
A comment i hear CONSTANTLY from my customers, is the "big guys" in the area make you feel like you need to be in some sort of club to even get into their schedule, and they dont like "projects."
Well we have sort of a club ourselves- but unlike others in the area you would need to spend thousands upon thousands to enter- all we take to enter is a phone call. 90% of the time you'll actually get ME on the phone, and I'm the one who will show up on your site, or even your house. I love projects and im always up for a challenge. I cant guarantee that I can fix everything you break, but ill give you the cold hard truth BEFORE you spend a penny. Im almost always available to discuss your project at length, and i will find time to treat you the way a paying customer SHOULD BE TREATED.
I put the word "service" in the business name, because thats what I feel the country as a whole is missing. I could have called the business "awesome welding," or something along those lines. Instead, i put my family name front and center- and it gets laid on the line with every single repair we make. Its embedded in the long road others have laid before me, and its on every "brick" I lay down by hand for my children to walk on.
When i show up, the "meter" doesnt start until work starts. The following processes can be performed up to 100 feet from the truck;
Torch use
Mig welding, 1/2" steel 1/4" aluminum
Ac/dc tig welding
The following processes can be performed up to 150 feet of the truck
Plasma cutting
Stick welding, unlimited
Mig, 1/4" steel, 1/8" aluminum
Cutting/grinding
We also have extremely convenient drop off and pickup services.
If it can conduct heat or electricity,there is a very good chance i can help you out. From a hole in your favorite soup pot, to broken equipment frames- I would appreciate your consideration..
