The NorthStar Team was excited to plan and execute this full day conference showcasing the aviation sector on behalf of The American Council of Engineering Companies of New Jersey - ACECNJ. Partnering with New Jersey Department of Transportation is always special and we appreciated the collaboration with Federal Aviation Administration and Atlantic County Economic Alliance to make this event a success.

Today, leaders from across New Jersey came together for our 2nd annual Aviation Innovation & Resource (AIR) Conference to explore the issues shaping our state’s aviation infrastructure and share a vision for its future. From industry challenges to emerging opportunities, the conversations highlighted the collaboration needed to move aviation forward in New Jersey.

NorthStar Strategies, LLC is proud to announce that Taryn Boland has joined the firm as Director of Government Affairs and Executive Director of the The American Council of Engineering Companies of New Jersey - ACECNJ. In this dual leadership role, Boland will support NorthStar clients through strategic government affairs and stakeholder engagement initiatives while serving as Executive Director of ACECNJ.

Boland joins NorthStar following a distinguished career in public service and executive leadership. Most recently, she served as Senior Advisor to the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, where she provided counsel on statewide energy priorities, regulatory strategy, organizational alignment, and stakeholder engagement. From 2021 to 2026, she served as Chief of Staff to the agency, overseeing enterprise operations, policy development, government affairs, communications, information technology, and workforce modernization initiatives.
