⚠️ A major legislative victory for our client Athletic Trainers' Society of New Jersey - ATSNJ! ⚠️

Governor Mikie Sherrill has signed S-4113/A-4821, officially bringing New Jersey into the Athletic Trainer Compact. This new law gives licensed athletic trainers greater professional mobility across participating states while strengthening access to qualified care.

Congratulations to TZG’s Eric Orlando and Karlito Almeda and Sen. Patrick Diegnan, Senator Gordon Johnson, Asm. Dan Hutchison (D), Assemblyman Robert Karabinchak (D) and Asw. Carol Murphy (D) for recognizing the value athletic trainers bring to New Jersey’s healthcare system and beyond.

Congratulations to NJ Legislative Black Caucus Foundation’s 19 scholars on completing the 2026 Scholars Internship Program! 🎓👏

Since June, this impressive cohort has gone beyond the classroom to experience public policy in action. Through internship placements, dedicated mentorship, weekly Fireside Chats and a Day at the Capitol, the scholars gained a closer look at how government works and explored the many ways they can serve their communities.

TZG’s Kendall Murphy and Karlito Almeda had the pleasure of joining last week’s Annual Scholars Luncheon to celebrate their hard work and growth. Congratulations to the scholars and to NJLBCF for continuing to create meaningful opportunities for New Jersey’s next generation of leaders.
