Yesterday’s 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗽 through 𝗠𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 at Custom Insurance Agency in Shelby Township was such a beautiful morning of prayer, fellowship, and encouragement. ❤️

As we went around the table sharing our businesses and how God is strengthening us in this season, one word kept coming up: 𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗦𝗧.

✨ 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮 reminded us that we can execute our business strategies with excellence, but when the ROI hasn’t come yet, we still have to trust God with the results.

✨ 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗲 gave us all a laugh sharing how she sometimes hides in her minivan in the garage to find quiet time for herself, her business, or the Lord! 😂

✨ 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗻 reminded us of the importance of quieting the noise around us—and in our heads—to hear God clearly.

✨ 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗲 shared how God prompted her during our group prayer the previous week to completely pivot the audience she was pursuing,

✨ 𝗔𝗿𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗲 brought joy as she shared how she and her sisters have grown closer over the years and now openly share their faith together.

Different stories. Different seasons. 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱: 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆. 🙏

What a powerful morning at My Christian Business Network’s Speed Networking event at 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗘𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝘆! 🙌

Today’s session went beyond the typical “W𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼?” conversations. We had the opportunity to really dive into one another’s businesses—listening well, asking thoughtful questions, and learning about the challenges each person is facing.

And then something beautiful happened…

Because we were actively listening, we were able to rally around one another and offer ideas, strategies, and solutions that have worked in our own businesses.

But the BEST part?

💙 The advice was coming from fellow believers.

There was something special about knowing that the people around the table weren’t just looking at business through a bottom-line perspective. They were looking at it through the lens of faith, purpose, and a desire to serve one another well.

One person even said, “Pray about the advice we've given and see where the Lord leads you.”

AMEN! 🙏

That’s what Christian business community can look like—we don’t have to figure it all out alone.

Sad you missed today’s event? We’d love to have you join us next time!

This past Wednesday morning, our 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗽 through 𝗠𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 gathered at 𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆, and what a blessing it was!

We heard how God has inspired each of these women, not only in their businesses and careers, but also throughout their lives. 💕

But do you know what may have been the best part?

Watching each woman "listen intently" as another shared a little bit about herself, her story, and her business.

And you KNOW they were actively listening because of the 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄-𝘂𝗽 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀!

That's what authentic 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻 business community looks like. Being present, asking questions, encouraging one another, and genuinely wanting to know how we can serve each other well.

We also had the opportunity to learn about 𝗙𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗢𝗻𝗲, a virtual organization that equips Christians to live out their faith in the workplace through 𝟱 𝗗𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗛𝗮𝗯𝗶𝘁𝘀. The goal? To approach every day like a 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽—looking for opportunities to represent Christ through the way we work, interact, and serve others. 🌎✝️

What if we began viewing our workplaces not simply as where we "𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸", but as where God has "𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘂𝘀"?

What a fruitful time the five of us had getting to know one another at last Friday’s Speed Networking event at 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗲 in Mt. Clemens!

As we spent time together, each person shared a specific area where they were experiencing challenges—both personally and professionally. Rather than simply offering advice, we encouraged and challenged one another to 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝘀𝘂𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁, 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝗴𝗼 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘁.

We also shared areas where we’re seeking support within our organizations. Together, we exchanged ideas, strategies, resources, and warm introductions that could help open doors and strengthen one another’s efforts.

𝗛𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝟭𝟬:𝟮𝟰–2𝟱 (𝗡𝗜𝗩) says, “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
