Night Shift Operator - Full Time | Night Shift

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Night Shift Equipment Operator to join our Pellet Mill operations team. This position is responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment to ensure safe, efficient operations and high-quality wood pellet production.

What You’ll Do:
• Operate and monitor pellet mill, dryer, and related production equipment
• Adjust machine settings to maintain product quality and production efficiency
• Inspect product quality and troubleshoot equipment issues as needed
• Perform routine inspections and basic preventative maintenance
• Maintain accurate production and operational records
• Assist with bagging, material handling, and other production tasks
• Operate forklifts, loaders, and other equipment (training provided)
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors

What We’re Looking For:
• Mechanical aptitude or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to troubleshoot and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in an industrial environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Forklift or equipment experience is a plus, but training is available

As we approach the holiday weekend, the teams at Cummings Lumber, Barefoot Flooring, and Barefoot Pellet Company want to take a moment to pause and reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day.

Beyond the long weekend and the start of summer, Monday is a sacred day dedicated to honoring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. We owe our freedom, our community, and our daily lives to their selflessness and courage. Our hearts and deepest gratitude go out to the gold star families who carry their legacy forward.
