Join us for an engaging exploration of how curated design, historical context, and modern aesthetics intersect to elevate physical environments. This session will dive into the art of curatorial storytelling, revealing how intentional selections—vintage pieces, original artwork, collectible furniture, and historically significant objects—create interiors with authenticity, depth, and lasting appeal.

Together, we will examine how designers can blend design history with contemporary sensibilities to craft spaces that feel meaningful, personal, and timeless. The conversation will also highlight how professionals can leverage the worlds of auctions, consignment, and collectible markets to expand their creative services and unlock new sources of value for their clients.

As Metro Detroit’s largest mid-century and contemporary design showroom and auction house, Le Shoppe Modern offers unparalleled insight into the power of vintage design. This engagement will showcase why incorporating curated pieces into interiors adds character and narrative—qualities often missing from mass-produced décor—and how these elements enrich both the design process and the client experience.
