15% of all sales through the end of November will go to benefit the California Fire Foundation. Before leaving for work this morning, I watched another video of people fleeing their homes, flanked by fire on either side of the road and I cried. Again. Today was going to be the day to announce an amazing giveaway featuring 8 artists including a photographer, calligrapher, macramist, botanist and more. Unfortunately, the lovely organizer was forced to evacuate her home due to the wildfires raging in Southern California - so we are postponing this trivial giveaway. The damages - physical, mental, emotional - and loss of life these wildfires are inflicting across our beautiful state is heart wrenching, to say the very least. Please consider offering support in whatever way you can.

This whole daylight savings thing really gets in the way of my product shoots! But I managed to snag a few before the sun slipped behind the mountain. Stay tuned for a few new items coming soon. These beautiful feathers and dried plant props are from the lovely and her home grown turkeys.
