Over several decades of adventuring in the western US and abroad it became apparent to the founders that there was an unfulfilled need for an integrated solution for cooking, cleaning up dishes and cookware, filtering water and showering outdoors. Most of the critical parts (Stoves, tables, water filtration, portable showers etc.) were obviously available but always as standalone products or built

into a recreational vehicle. When we embarked on this journey we started with a personal quest for simplifying the preparation of kitchen gear for a road trip and then transitioning that gear from the vehicle to the back-country or the river. Our goal is to provide the ultimate portable kitchen and clean up workstations that organize your most essential gear into the most compact package possible. Whether you adventure outdoors using a car, truck, SUV, 4X4 , RV, canoe, raft or pack animal there is a place for the space efficient workstation designs from Trail Kitchens.

Another new van build hits the road 🚐
This custom Sprinter just left the shop, built from the ground up for comfort, durability, and real-world travel.
Inside you’ll find a full kitchen and integrated electrical system, multiple LED lighting zones, and our popular Murphy bed setup with window flare-outs. The main sofa bed, swivel seats, and smart layout create an open, flexible living space whether you’re parked or cruising.
We finished it off with countertops and added storage in all the right places—behind the swivel seats, on the doors, and even a center console refrigerator from to keep drinks and snacks easy to grab on the road.
As always, this build is engineered to be solid, quiet, and rattle-free—designed to perform for years of adventure.
