What’s the biggest “issue” when I consider a landscapehardscape project??

WATER!!!!!

Most don’t know the destructive power it has. It’s not always just about volume. A small trickle of water can do a lot of damage in a short amount of time. I work hard to manage water on every project because, even with good installation processes, it can damage or destroy the features I build. Here I working with a local contractor to help solve some water issues this customer is having. Nobody likes a wet basement. Hopefully this part will do it’s job.

I so love to make people’s yard spaces look good. Here is another simple project that made a big improvement. Those timber walls were probably quite old because they were mostly rotten. The customer had picked out a block they liked earlier but ended up being discontinued. After some research and checking options, I was able to find something very similar that they liked. The timbers were removed, new block installed, and a few extra features taken care of to finish it off right. Thank you to this special customer. It was a privilege to serve you.

Here is a memorial garden we worked on recently. Nothing major, just updated the block wall and edging to match a wall by the house I installed last year. Took out the mulch walkway and and put in river rock. I like the way it turned out, and so did my customer. Do it once, do it right! When your customer wants a straight wall but the contractor who installed the pavers didn’t cut this one side straight. What do you do?

You fix it!

Does it take a bit more time? Yes. Was it in the bid? No. Is it the right thing to do? Absolutely! I’ve been told that , “quality is remembered long after the price tag”. If only they followed “do it once, do it right”. It doesn’t save money if it’s not done correctly.
