Meet the Founder behind Divine Strategic Solutions. 💙

For more than 15 years, Takiya Green, Founder & CEO and Principal Strategist of Divine Strategic Solutions, has worked alongside nonprofit and mission-driven organizations to strengthen strategy, build organizational capacity, develop sustainable programs, and secure the resources needed to advance their missions.

Her work is grounded in a simple belief:

Sustainable impact requires more than funding. It requires strategy, capacity, strong systems, and infrastructure that can support the vision.

That philosophy continues to shape the work of DSS today.

With $70M+ secured, 50+ organizations supported, and partnerships spanning communities and organizations across the country, Takiya brings both experience and a hands-on, strategic approach to every engagement.

Because at DSS, the goal isn’t simply to secure funding.

It’s to build organizations that are positioned to sustain their impact.

Meet the strategist behind the strategy. 💙

$70 million+ secured, and counting.

But for us, it’s never just about the number.

Behind every dollar is a nonprofit working to strengthen communities, expand opportunity, and create lasting impact.

At DSS, we help organizations move beyond simply chasing funding to building the strategy, capacity, and infrastructure needed for sustainable growth.

We’re proud of the $70M+ we’ve helped secure. Even more proud of what our nonprofit partners have been able to do with it.

Strategy. Collaboration. Community impact.
That’s what drives our work.

THIS is the kind of news we love to share! 🎉💙

Divine Strategic Solutions is proud to celebrate our partner, Advancing Connecticut Together, on receiving a $500,000 award from the Citi Foundation through its 2026 Community Finance Initiative!

DSS had the privilege of supporting the development of this successful application, and seeing a $500K investment come to fruition is a beautiful reminder of what happens when strong programs, meaningful impact, and intentional funding strategy come together.

Congratulations to the entire Advancing Connecticut Together team! We’re honored to have played a role in this win. 🙌🏽

Grant writing is only one piece of the puzzle.

Sustainable fund development requires strategy, relationships, positioning, cultivation, and a long-term vision.

Because submitting more grants isn’t always the answer. Building the right strategy is.

At DSS, we help nonprofits move beyond chasing the next opportunity and build the capacity and strategy needed for sustainable growth and greater impact.

Strategy today. Greater impact tomorrow.

More applications ≠ more funding. 👏🏽

Sometimes the answer isn’t another grant application.

Sometimes it’s strengthening the strategy, building the relationship, clarifying the outcomes, improving organizational readiness, or getting crystal clear about why a funder should invest.

Because grant writing is only one piece of fund development.

The goal isn’t to chase every opportunity.

It’s to position your organization for the right opportunities.

Strategy first. Always. 💯

The funding landscape is changing, and nonprofits are feeling it.

Organizations today are being asked to do more with less while navigating:

• Increased competition for funding
• Limited organizational capacity
• Economic uncertainty
• Staffing challenges
• Growing reporting requirements

That's why chasing the next grant isn't enough.

The organizations that will thrive are those investing in strong systems, strategic planning, diversified funding, and long-term sustainability.

At Divine Strategic Solutions, we help organizations build the foundation needed to navigate today's funding environment and prepare for tomorrow's opportunities.

💬 Which of these challenges has had the biggest impact on your organization?
