Harvest at MBV has officially begun! 🍇
It’s been about 7 years since our last Estate Harvest, making this season extra special for all of us. A massive thank you to Dave, Richard, Hugo, Edgar, and the entire vineyard crew for the incredible dedication and hard work they pour into this place every single day.
These very long harvest days kicked off earlier than we planned, so please keep our crew in your thoughts as they power through. As Dave likes to say, “The grapes keep coming. And there’s way more of them than there are of us.”

Pouring memories across the Carolinas and beyond...

There is something truly magical about hitting the road, bringing people together, and sharing a glass of w**e. Looking back at our recent travels, it’s the community, the chefs, and the spaces that made every mile worth it.

We had an absolute dream of an evening at Encompass Farm for The Flower Dinner. Picture this: incredible farm-to-table pairings, stunning blooms, and the kind of laughter that lingers long after the sun goes down.

We got to celebrate Tryon w**eries with the NC W**e Grower's Association at the Taste of North Carolina, pouring with those who love this region as much as we do.

Off to the city! We loved meeting so many of your friendly faces at the W**e Shop at Rivergate for an intimate, high-energy tasting in Charlotte.

We were surrounded by open flame and incredible talent at Heritage Fire, the ultimate Asheville culinary festival.

Every single stop reminds us why we love what we do. It’s all about supporting the brilliant small business partners, local bottle shops, and talented chefs who pour their hearts into their craft. W**e, laughter, and community—honestly, what could be better?

Behind every great bottle of w**e is a vineyard manager who lived, breathed, and worried over the fruit long before it ever hit the glass.

Today, we want to shine the spotlight on Richard, our vineyard manager, and the incredible team supporting him.

A few years ago, Mountain Brook took a leap of faith and replanted our entire vineyard from scratch. This project required endless patience, strategy, and backbreaking work. August brings our first harvest since we embarked on this journey.

Walking through the rows today, the vines are doing exceptionally well, and that is due to Richard’s unmatched care and dedication.

As we head into harvest over the next couple of months, Richard, Dave, and the vineyard crew are staring down grueling, unpredictable, and incredibly long hours.
