I’m in Washington DC today with some amazing Street Smart Investors and I’m reminded that…

Freedom has never been free.

It was born from courage, protected by sacrifice, and kept alive by people willing to stand, serve, build, believe, and keep moving forward.

I love our country.

I’m grateful for the blessings we’ve been given.

Grateful for the opportunity to learn, grow, work, own, give, and help others along the way.

Freedom is more than something we celebrate today.

It’s something we live… with courage, responsibility, gratitude, and action.

Today we honor the dads, grandfathers, and father figures who have quietly sacrificed to provide, guide, protect, and support their families.

Not asking for recognition.

Simply doing what needs to be done.

They carry responsibility, make hard decisions, and work to give their kids and grandchildren a stronger foundation and a better life.

That kind of commitment matters.

That kind of example lasts.

And that is legacy.

To every father, grandfather, and man who has stepped up for a family that needed him, thank you.

Today, we pause to remember what Memorial Day truly means.

This is a day to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

They sacrificed their futures so we could enjoy ours.

The freedom to live, worship, work, build, own property, raise our families, and pursue a better life was not handed to us cheaply.

It was paid for by those who gave everything.

May we never forget them.

And may we live in a way that honors their sacrifice.
