Lawrence is the CEO of Contempo HCM, where he leads the company’s strategic direction, sales and marketing initiatives, and oversees HR and administrative operations. With an impressive track record of launching, growing, and merging three successful startups in the payroll and HR space, Lawrence is a recognized leader in the Employer Services industry.

He specializes in blending innovative technology with high-touch client service, providing exceptional solutions across sectors including hospitality, healthcare, professional services, and construction. His core areas of expertise include employee relations, HR compliance, training and development, and organizational growth.

Lawrence holds an MBA from the University of Arizona’s Eller Graduate School of Business, is an Enrolled Agent (EA) with the IRS, and a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). He’s also deeply committed to his community, having served in leadership roles with several Tucson organizations. In 2011, he was honored as the Tucson Metro Chamber Small Business Leader of the Year.

Outside the office, Lawrence enjoys exercise, golf, riding motorcycles, and most importantly, spending time with his family.
