Life moves on whether you're ready or not. Time is a part of that equation but it is often the hardest to feel.

I hope your journey since last we spoke has generally been good. If it has I hope the time passed slowly and you enjoyed it while it lasted. If it was not good then I hope the time passed quickly.

I've been busy working on my community and planning. Hopefully some of my partnerships will be seen or felt at the community level. I've also been learning.

Top 3 lessons I've learned:
1. The more I learn the less I know
2. One of my favorite things is to collaborate with others about our community
3. Keep moving. As long as you keep moving and keep the things important to you in your sight then success can also be yours

Since I last posted a lot has happened.

Federal guardrails are coming off.
People need to organize to survive.
Real change needs to happen and unfortunately needs to happen fast.
I'm needing ideas on how to survive this craziness.

Good morning beautiful people! A lot has happened since my last post and perspectives are changing.

A year ago I was struggling with where I had ended up; 6 montrhs ago I was concerned about how I going to fit in at my county job; 3 months ago I was worried about how I could afford to ever give my kids a vacation again; a month ago I was concerned for my life.

I have learned that life can be fleeting and we need to embrace each other a little more, understand each other a little better and forgive a little cleaner.

How has your perspective changed over the last year? 6 months? 3 months? a month?

Pima County is working to retain and expand existing employers, expand tourism, improve business services, and create new opportunities for job growth.

Consulting for me is the act of listening to a person describe their trouble spots (in business but in life also), ask clarifying questions and helping that person come up with a solution that is doable for them. We then take that solution, turn it into manageable and SMART goals that they can then form action plans on.

The process varies from person to person but it starts with them wanting to make a change.

Electric vehicles and their infrastructure will create jobs, give the environment a break and move our country into a position of strength. Not doing so keeps things as they are.
