New Mindset Pathways

New Mindset Pathways Spiritual direction & coaching for Gen Z men in recovery and those who are un-churched or de-churched.

Through one-on-one direction, coaching, and group experiences, we help young men rebuild their inner life when religion and old coping stop working.

Tomorrow night. This is the one I've been building toward all week.

We're putting all three side by side โ€” your sponsor, your therapist, and the one most men have never heard of โ€” and making plain what each is actually for. Not a ranking. Not a replacement. Just clarity on who does what.

Bring your questions; we'll take them live. Set a reminder so you don't miss it.

Here's the thing most men in recovery never get told: your sponsor isn't your therapist, and your therapist isn't your spiritual director. Three different people, three different jobs.

A sponsor walks the steps with you and won't let you hide. A therapist goes after the patterns and the pain underneath. And the third one โ€” the one you may not know exists yet โ€” sits with the part of you that's reaching for something bigger.

Ask one to do another's job and you leave empty. This Friday we put all three side by side.

There's a question that shows up for a lot of men once recovery settles in. You bring it to your sponsor, and he points you back to the work. You bring it to your therapist, and she goes after what's underneath. Both are doing their job โ€” and neither one is quite the thing you're asking.
So you sit with it alone, because as far as you know, there's nobody whose job it is. There is. Most men have never heard of him.
This Friday I'll tell you who. Three days out โ€” set a reminder.

You got sober. The Steps worked. But somewhere past the early months a quieter question shows up, and you notice your usual people can't quite answer it.
You bring it to your sponsor, and he points you back to the work. You bring it to your therapist, and she goes after the wiring underneath. Both are doing their job. Neither one is the thing you're actually asking.
There's a third person whose whole job is that question. Most men in recovery have never heard of him, and Step Eleven points straight at what he does.
This Friday I'm going live to put all three side by side โ€” your sponsor, your therapist, and the one you may not know exists yet โ€” and make plain what each is actually for. It's not a ranking, and it's not a replacement for your program. It's the missing piece, named at last.
Come with questions. We'll take them live.
