Hi, my name is David Yrigoyen, owner and director of Natural Healing Care Center in Tucson, Arizona. We specialize in alternative medicine, cannabis education, and certifications, along with high-quality, full-spectrum CBD products. I opened Natural Healing Care Center in 2012 after discovering alternative therapies for relief from my own ailments. I had chronic painâback pain, knee pain, forearm and wrist painâand also pain from a broken clavicle that I sustained when I was younger, which resulted in some nerve pain. Along with that pain came ulcers from the medications they had me on. By 2012, in my late 20s, I was experiencing quite a few issues. That's when I discovered a naturopathic doctor, Dr. Jasmine May, who ended up helping me out.
Since then, I have learned so much more about alternative therapies, found the tools to actually give me relief, and helped me through my healing journey. It wasnât just about physical pain, but emotional pain as well. Over the last four years, I had to go through some loss and lost family members to illness or other events, and I healed through it with natural, conscious alternatives. So, I do know that everything we offer helps in one way or another, or that we have offered in the past. I also know there are a lot of other therapies that help people as well. When I first opened Natural Healing Care Center, I attended quite a few conferences and naturopathic and wellness events, where I learned from vendors that there is hypocrisy in the naturopathic world, much of it due to profit-driven decisions. Naturopathic doctors have to go through four years of medical school after undergrad school, and they still have to deal with the cost of medical school. When they graduate, they don't have the same opportunities or options that a medical doctor would have, such as financing or profitable positions in their workforce, especially when starting out at a clinic.
So, I know there are limited opportunities for quick growth, like some medical doctors get. I know naturopathic doctors are likely to incorporate other services that may not align with their beliefs, but they have to do them because they're money generators. I learned that by attending some of these conferences and having vendors try to sell me services or products that are money-driven in this industry.
At Natural Healing Care Center, we've always stayed true to natural practices. Anything that seems invasive, we stay away from. We believe that with the proper diet, nutrition, and herbs, you can not only help current ailments but also prevent certain issues from arising in the future. Hopefully, we can reach a point where people incorporate these preventative measures early in life, so they don't have to worry about certain ailments or diseases later on. These are becoming common around the nation and world right now. I do believe nature gives us those tools, and that's why Natural Healing Care Center is here. We stay true to those standards and do not allow any leeway when it comes to services or products that may be processed or have chemical additives. We are pretty strict on that. That's why we want you to know that if there's any way we can help you find alternative relief for anythingâwhether it's with cannabis, CBD, or any type of alternative therapyâwe're here for you. We have a good referral system and network.
If we don't offer the service, or if our doctor or practitioners canât help you, we will find the right place for you and point you in the right direction on your journey. There's a lot to explore when you start going down an alternative route. Energy, nutrition, nature, consciousness of what you're doing, and your actions all play a big role in our health, along with breathwork. All of it is important. I know that when you go down that road, it takes effort, consistency, and discipline. We are here to help you with that.
