The argument goes a little something like this: Women: “Eating in a slight calorie deficit hasn’t worked for me. And I’ve been trying it for years.”
Me: No you haven’t. If you had been eating in a slight calorie deficit for years, you would be at your goal weight, unless there was extenuating medical underlying circumstances. The truth is, most women are not staying in a slight calorie deficit, because they are mentally misunderstanding what that actually means.
I have been eating in a slight calorie deficit for years, which is actually just the regular way that I eat and I have not noticed that it’s actually a slight calorie deficit because I’ve made it habit to eat 3 square meals a day that are relatively healthy and proportioned. That’s it! THATS what “eating in a slight calorie deficit “ looks like.
After years, eating like this becomes normalized for you and you don’t realize that you are still eating in a slight calorie deficit. Getting to this point &strength training regularly is your answer, without the use of GLP-1 drugs. ( Again, given the fact you do not have any underlying medical challenges).
And if you do have some medical challenges, 9 out of 10 times if you consult with a holistic doctor, you can rectify those challenges through vitamin supplementation and some other medication’s that might help reverse some issues that may be genetic. But still, that GLP-1 drug is not always the answer if you do enough, digging and advocating for yourself.
Why am I so against the drug?
I’m not. I’m against MISUSE of the drug due to the various sides effects that are associated with the drug. . Caption continued in comments:
