I know I never post here, my apologies. With the ongoing pandemic combined with recent health challenges, I am now officially retired. It’s certainly bittersweet, but necessary. Thank you so much to every single person who trusted me with taking their photos, be it products to real estate to maternity to headshots to dating profile pics to families - and especially to those families who I have watched grow for year after year after year. It’s truly been my pleasure, and I am so proud that my work will be seen by your family for years to come. 🥰🥰🥰

I know I never post here. Yes, I am still in business and still busy! :-) But Facebook only shares my posts with about 3 people, so I just don't find it worth the time. But I will try to post every year at least once, ha ha! Anyway, Ally and Gray were married yesterday in Los Angeles! I very much enjoyed doing their engagement photos and wish them a lifetime of happiness! Cheers!

I put out a casting call for freckles, as I had a vision of freckles that I saw in my head. Thanks to Skylar, who was the perfect model, it became reality and I couldn't be happier with the results. Tucson Casting Call! I am looking for a boy or girl, 6 to 11 years old, WITH LOTS OF FRECKLES to pose for a headshot.

Requirements:
1. You must be able to provide transportation for the child to the shoot location, most likely centrally located in town. The session will take no more than 30 minutes.
2. The parent must be present the entire time and must sign a model release prior to the session for the images to be used in my portfolio and/or in marketing materials.

In exchange for your/his or her time, you will receive approximately two, possibly three, professional high-resolution fully edited digital images at no cost to you that you can print, share with Grandma and/or post to Facebook!

IMPORTANT: Subject must be cooperative and good at following instructions. This part is much more important than typical “model” looks.

If you are interested, please PM or email to [email protected] one current clear headshot (a cell phone picture is fine as long as it is clear). Anyone selected will be contacted with more information. Please share this with anyone you know who may be interested. Thanks!

I love it when a Google Alert lands in my mailbox to alert me of a photo credit! This has been such a wonderful busy season for me personally and for Melissa Logan Haun Photography. I've had 15 sessions (family, mini and senior) in a little over a month and I am really proud of the work I've done. Having wonderful clients to work with is a big part of that, and this year, I had lots of furry family members making an appearance with the rest of their families -- a total of NINE dogs and Pretzel the Horse!

I have my final two sessions of the season tomorrow and once the holidays are over (and my client's cards with their photos have gone out), I'll share more of the images here. I have one last opening at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow if anyone is interested and then I'm done for the year! But for now, here is a preview of what I've been up to lately. UPDATE: I've sold out of the November 23rd date at the University of Arizona, but have had another request for on campus, so I've added Sunday, November 10th at the U of A. I have two spots remaining for next weekend on November 2nd but I would love to sell out! Book a session today to have your holiday cards done in plenty of time.
