So proud of my son, Emmett Thomas, for his first "big show" Lighting Director gig, learning the ropes on the show in Atlantic City last month. He did an amazing job and I see a great future in this industry for him if he chooses to embrace it. Well done, kiddo!

As many of you know, I was embedded in the D'Angelo camp for some magical moments. As the Lighting Designer/Director for the Voodoo Tour in 2000 and then for the return 12 years later as Production Manager, I had the blessing of working closely with Mike as he and the family (and we ARE family) created some of the most dynamic and heartfelt music events I had ever had the pleasure to be associated with. The things I've seen...epic. No other word can accurately describe them.

Thank you for so much, D... You will forever have a place in my heart for all that you allowed me to experience and accomplish.
Rest In Power, King.
