Before your leadership team starts setting 2027 goals, answer five harder questions:
1. What did we say would happen in 2026—and what actually happened?
2. Where is the business overly dependent on one person, customer or channel?
3. What are we tolerating that is quietly lowering performance?
4. Which capability must be stronger by this time next year?
5. What will we deliberately stop doing?
Good planning is not a wish list. It is a disciplined set of choices based on reality.
