In can be hard to care about things at a federal level but the fact is that we have to let our representatives know that we support the comprehensive federal permitting reform package or is going to suffer. We need to fortify our grid by getting energy suppliers up and running without the delays that come from all the interconnection entities. We know that 90% of the projects just sitting waiting to be deployed to help us are clean and reliable and will give us the electricity we need. We need these permitting barriers pushed back. We can’t wait. Contact our reps!

Sincerely it is the Grid! Have you written State Senator TJ Shope to add SB 1501 to the agenda of the Natural Resources Committee? You should! SB 1501 would open the grid up to energy markets and investigate more opportunities for “2 way flows of electricity” ( Anyone?)
