Chasing the dream of true “Single Source” jewelry, starting right here on the Mt. Baker Mining and Metals Equipment shaker table. ⛏️✨

While gems are our main trade, our mine produces a surprising amount of gold! The tricky part? It’s super fine “flour” gold, trapped in exceptionally heavy black sands packed with dense minerals. Separating it requires fine-tuning, constant tweaking, and plenty of patience! 👨‍👦⚡️

We’ve already begun perfecting the smelting and refining process for the gold we’ve separated over the last few seasons but it remains a project on a small scale. Our ultimate goal? To craft pieces where the gold is mined, refined, smithed, and set with precision faceted gems mined and cut by us all in house.
