One week ago, after an incredibly difficult stretch of fires across our area, we launched this matching gift campaign for the Tulia Volunteer Fire Department.
And honestly, we’ve been overwhelmed by the generosity of Tulia and the surrounding communities. Individuals, businesses, families, farmers, clubs, and organizations have stepped up in such a big way to support the people who protect us all.
Thanks to that incredible support, we’ve already raised $9,950 toward our $16,000 matching goal. That means we’re getting closer to turning this campaign into $32,000 for the department.
Jolly Crop Insurance, Street Community Gin, and Tulia Veterinary Supply are continuing to match every public donation dollar-for-dollar.
This year alone, our department has already answered more calls than all of last year, and the need is very real.
You can still donate at any of these businesses, send through Cash App, or mail checks directly to the fire department. Every donation, large or small, will continue to be doubled until we reach the goal.
