Job Summary:
Join our dynamic security team as an overnight Unarmed Security Guard, where your vigilance and proactive approach will ensure a safe and secure environment for everyone. In this role, you will monitor premises, enforce safety protocols, and provide excellent customer service to visitors and staff alike. Your dedication will help maintain a secure atmosphere, prevent loss, and respond swiftly to any incidents or emergencies. This position offers an engaging opportunity to apply your security skills while making a positive impact on the community.

Duties

* Assignment hours: 8:00 PM - 4:00 AM, 5 nights per week.

Conduct regular patrols of the facility to monitor for suspicious activity, safety hazards, or unauthorized access
Observe and operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee key areas and detect potential security breaches
Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and vendors, ensuring proper authorization before granting access
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies by following established protocols and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping
Enforce facility policies related to loss prevention and safety procedures to protect assets and personnel
Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors with directions or inquiries while maintaining security standards
Qualifications

Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and experience with conflict management techniques
Certifications in first aid and CPR are preferred; willingness to obtain these certifications if not already held
Strong understanding of security protocols, loss prevention strategies, and emergency response procedures
Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining professionalism and composure in high-pressure situations
Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members, visitors, and emergency responders
Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond quickly when needed
