Today, we pause to honor the life and service of Guy S. Williams, a 57-year Welder member and former Recording Secretary of Pipeliners Local 798. His attention to detail and commitment to fairness left a lasting mark on our union family. More than his role, he will be remembered for the way he treated people, with respect, kindness, and an unwavering belief in solidarity.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, and all who loved him. May they find comfort in knowing the impact he made on countless lives, and that his dedication to Local 798’s proud tradition will never be forgotten.

Rest in peace, brother. Your legacy lives on in the strength of the union and in the hearts of those you inspired.
