Sometimes when I'm in a crawlspace under a house, especially one's that are cement above and below. I sometimes have a passing thought about being trapped, locked in by some deranged home buyers.

Might be a good idea for a movie, right?

Looks like I'm too late. Oh, well...

Anyway, we're open for business, crawlspace or not.

A simple screw.

Not when you see it fastening a stuffed electrical panel.

It's the pointy end that's the problem. If it touches the wrong wire, you'll know it. Trust me.

Home inspections are interesting, you see pretty much everything. The good, the bad and the dangerous.

Sometimes you crawl through a crawlspace and know something is terribly wrong. Sometimes you feel something tickling your hair and know it's something other than a gust of wind. And, when you glance up and to the right, you see the white underbelly of a snake while is tastes your hair with it's tongue.

Needless to say, that crawlspace inspection was over.

The Laura Dester Shelter is a temporary shelter for abused and neglected children. As this is a joyous time of year for most, these children are removed from their home and the Laura Dester shelter is there to provide a glimmer of hope in a time of unpredictability and pain.
