Gas Measurement Technician II

Founded in 2008, We are looking for trained technicians to provide effective solutions for all of our customer's measurement and automation needs. Products and services include:
-Or***ce Measurement installation, utilizing Dry Flow, or Electronic secondary devices.
-Dryflow and Electronic calibration and maintenance
-Gas Sampling
-Remote monitoring
-Wireless communications installation and troubleshooting
-SCADA system design and installation
-Measurement services
Aeon is growing and seeks to add a Gas Measurement Technician to the team to service in the Pawnee/Ponca City, as well as other regions.
Essential Functions:
-Install, commission, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and maintain all measurement equipment including but not limited to: Dry Flow Recorders, EFM’s, samplers, or***ce plates, and meter tubes.
-Ensure all measurement and related equipment is operating at peak efficiency by Industry specifications (API, AGA, Etc.).
-Perform spot sampling and associated witnessing of custody transfer meters.
-This position will also be highly involved in field data and SCADA communications for various customers. The incumbent must possess knowledge of installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of unlicensed radio communications, and cellular modems. Background in radio communication theory and propagation modeling desired. Along with IP and internet communication understanding.
-Actively support Health, Environment, and Safety processes by accomplishing daily activities within applicable regulations and policies, carrying out duties in an environmentally conscious manner, following safe operating practices, maintaining a safe working environment.
-Prepare accurate reports and records of work performed.
-Note: work takes place outdoors and is subject to 5/ days per week with possible extended workdays and some travel with overnights.
Optional Functions:
-Install, commission, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and maintain all gas quality equipment including gas chromatographs, O2 analyzers, H2S analyzers, H2O analyzers, and composite samplers.
Education/Work Experience:
-High school diploma or general equivalency (college preferred)
-Basic math skills
-Excellent communication skills to interface with customer base
-Industry related measurement or instrumentation and electrical experience
-PC skills including proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access
-Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and MVR/background check
