Last week we celebrated Courtney's graduation from NSU. Since 2021, Courtney has been our administrative and technical support professional, helping keep us connected and moving forward.

Today, we also wish her well as she moves into the next exciting chapter of her career—supporting families and their loved ones through their hospice journey as a social worker.

We know she will be a compassionate advisor and wish her all the best.

During Brews and Bonds, our panelists discussed the path stakeholders take to become advocates during a campaign. Mandy shared an insight about creating advocates early: involve them in the process and let them lead the "vote yes" initiative.

"We [municipalities] can't say 'vote yes,' but they [voters] can."

We've identified three signs that a communication strategy needs to change direction:

1. Your messaging is causing more upheaval than clarity. When communication is consistently misunderstood or repeatedly resisted, it may be time to rethink the plan or approach things differently.
2. Your team isn't clearly aligned. When team members lack clarity about the plan or goal, messaging can become muddled, leading to confusion. That's a sign to make sure everyone is on the same page and to confirm the strategy is still the right one.
3. Something big changes. If your organization undergoes a leadership change, for example, that's a prime time to refresh or review your strategy.

On Friday, we had a send-off for Gail, our Director of Business Operations. She's been a vital part of our organization for 13 years, and we'll miss her tremendously.

In Gail's own words, "It's time for a new adventure," and we wish her the absolute best in this next chapter.
