📈🙋 This position will play an important role in Premier’s accounting operations, with primary responsibility for supporting the accounts payable function along with broader accounting, customer service, and business support responsibilities. Jordan Kelly has joined Premier as a Reproductive Services Specialist in our central region. Please join us in welcoming him!

Jordan grew up in northeast PA. He took part in 4-H and FFA, showing cows through school. He started working on a small local dairy when he was 12 years old and worked there until he graduated. After that, he served as a herdsman on a 500-cow dairy for four years. The past four years he has been breeding cows and doing reproductive work in southern Lancaster and Chester counties.

“I am looking forward to building good relationships with customers and making great productive cattle. I look forward to being someone our customers can count on,” said Jordan.

Outside of work, Jordan likes to spend time with his wife and family. He also enjoys hunting when he is able to.

This week, we are highlighting Shawn Roy, an Area Sales Manager in the Southwest region.

Shawn has been with Premier since July 2017 and spends his days making semen deliveries, visiting with customers and fulfilling their needs, filling tanks with liquid nitrogen, and delivering products. Later afternoons end with breeding a group of cows or unpacking shipper tanks. During spring and fall beef season, his day starts with either putting CIDRs in for customers or breeding their heifers and cows.

"I really enjoy looking at the offspring from last year's breeding projects and meeting new customers and their families. Meeting my customers' needs genetically and through animal health products is also rewarding," says Shawn.

When asked what advice he has for anyone looking to build a similar career path, Shawn states: "If you enjoy meeting new people and have a passion to better customer cow herds through great genetics and animal health products, a position like this is for you. Gain as much experience as possible through your peers."
