So true! Hazard fuel reduction is typically at least one of each of our clients goals.

Have you ever heard the phrase, “A prescribed burn mimics a natural process”?

Less than a week after we conducted a growing-season burn at the Longleaf Stewardship Center, a summer thunderstorm rolled through and lightning struck this old pine.

Because the surrounding area had already been burned, there was little fuel available for the fire to spread. Without that recent prescribed burn, this lightning strike could have had a very different, and potentially much less desirable, outcome.

Another great burn in Tuscaloosa County today! We got started a little early to mitigate the low humidity and dry conditions. Great results and the good Lord kept us safe! Overall, good day!
