Our hearts are heavy for Twin Falls.
The Idaho Summit is deeply saddened by the violence that took place in our community today.
A place where families gather, people work, friends meet, and everyday life happens was suddenly transformed by unimaginable violence. Tonight, our hearts are with the victims and their loved ones, with those who were injured, and with everyone who witnessed or was affected by this tragedy.
We are also holding close the first responders, law enforcement, medical professionals, restaurant employees, and ordinary citizens who found themselves in an extraordinary and terrifying situation. Their courage and compassion matter.
The Idaho Summit has always been rooted in the belief that people, community, and the way we show up for one another matter. Today, perhaps more than ever, we are reminded of that.
Twin Falls is a strong community. But strength does not mean pretending this doesn't hurt. It means standing together in the aftermath. It means checking on our neighbors. Hugging our people a little tighter. Giving one another grace. And refusing to let an act of violence define who we are.
Tonight, we grieve together.
For those we lost. For those who are hurting. For those who are afraid. And for the Twin Falls community we love.
Our deepest condolences and prayers are with everyone affected by this tragedy.
