Humans, when they flip out over someone and are experiencing a major crush, they tend to keep it a secret. Not so with dolphins. When they "flip out" over another dolphin, there is nothing secretive about it. They become a living demonstration of what they feel. There is something to be said for taking the guesswork out of relationships.

What I love about this video is it is so similar to the human thing when you are out somewhere going about your business and you suddenly run into a good friend you were not expecting to see. There is that moment where you are just thrilled with the simple fact of having such a wonderful surprise. It's a beautiful flooding of feeling.

Pacino. My first dolphin teacher. He returns from time to time but there have been years when I have not seen him at all. But here's the thing. Dolphins remember. Just like people. The bonds are real, and an honor.

A mother and an aunt (perhaps) spending quality time with a rambunctious youngster. So much attention given to the young ones by the adults. There is some deep understanding here about how to create mental health. Love, attention and acceptance in abundance. If only every human received such, what a different world it would be.

A dolphin rodeo. Their elaborate fishing rituals are not that different from stampeding horses going through their paces at a big rodeo event (I grew up in Texas). The excitement in the air during such times is palpable. Such teamwork!. 'Yippee -ki -yay' for sure.

Opening all the doors to communicating. When between species, communicating becomes a multi-layered (and many splendored) thing. In this video I am working with my voice, my hands, patterns in the water, my intention, my great love and respect for dolphins and with the beginning understandings of telepathy kicking in. It is all a grand experiment and discovering which, to my mind, is what life is all about, especially when done with an open heart.

This is a beautiful example of collaborative fishing of the dolphins here in the river. We can see a certain amount on the surface of the water. It would be stunning to see what elaborate rituals they are performing under the water. Enjoy the sheer energy of what the dolphins are creating. They are master weavers.
