Derek brings 20 years of experience serving the Tyler area, and it shows! He walked our members through the wide range of mortgage programs available — many of which people don't even know exist — and how finding the right fit can make a significant difference in the long run.

Mollie walked us through the world of property and casualty insurance, sharing how the right coverage can make all the difference when it matters most. She highlighted options that work for a wide range of needs — whether you're a homeowner, a renter, or managing rental properties.

Two big takeaways? If you own rental properties, there are coverage options specifically designed to protect that investment. And if it's been a while since you've reviewed your policy, it may be worth a fresh look — coverage needs change, and you may be over or underinsured without realizing it.

Brett shared valuable insight into the importance of timely restoration and preventative maintenance, including how quickly mold can develop following water damage and why immediate action is critical. He also highlighted often-overlooked services such as air duct cleaning, which play an important role in maintaining a healthy home or business environment.

Since opening, several of our members have had the opportunity to work with Brett and his team, consistently noting their responsiveness, professionalism, and strong commitment to customer care.

Thank you to Chelsea with The Soares Law Firm for an informative and eye-opening presentation at our luncheon yesterday!

Chelsea provided valuable insight into the importance of estate planning, outlining the three primary options: wills, trusts, or having no plan at all, and the real implications of each.

She explained how wills become public record and must go through probate, which can delay the distribution of assets and add significant costs. In contrast, trusts offer a private, more streamlined solution that can cover a wide range of assets, including businesses, while avoiding probate altogether.

Chelsea also highlighted the risks of having no estate plan in place, including how assets may be divided in ways families don’t expect.

Additionally, she shared her expertise in special needs legal planning, an essential area for families preparing for long-term care and support as children reach adulthood.

He also shared several ways to get started, including a free intro class for those curious about how coaching can truly impact their business.
