Our October tournament is this weekend - 10/10 or 10/11 - on Lake Tyler. We are launching from Lake Tyler Marina (Concession 1). I would assume safe light will be around 6:40-6:50, but check with the weigh-in official for your day.

🚨 ATTENTION ETBA MEMBERS: CRITICAL MEETING TOMORROW NIGHT! 🚨
We need everyone to show up tomorrow night, Tuesday, October 6th at 7:00 PM, at Papacita's Mexican Restaurant (6704 S Broadway Ave, Tyler, TX). This is arguably the most important meeting of the year, and your attendance is highly critical!
Here is why you cannot miss it:
• Proposed Rule & By-Law Changes: The official East Texas Bass Association Rules and Bylaws dictate that the October meeting is the designated window to introduce new ideas.
• Must Be in Writing: If you want to propose any rule changes or amendments, you must bring them completely written out on paper. We will hold a brief open-floor discussion on these items. Remember, anything submitted tomorrow will be discussed further in November and officially voted on by the members in December. If it isn't on paper tomorrow, it won't be considered!
• Lake List Updates: We will be updating and discussing the tournament lake list schedules, making adjustments to ensure everything runs smoothly.
• Earn Your Attendance Points: Don't forget that showing up secures you 3 essential meeting points to boost your yearly club standings.

🎣 Next Club Meeting: Rules, Strategies, and Lake Tyler Prep! 🎣

Hey East Texas Bass Association members! Our next monthly meeting is right around the corner, and this is one you definitely don’t want to miss. Along with getting ready for our next big tournament, we will be discussing some important items to keep everyone on the same page.
📅 When: Tuesday, October 6th at 7:00 PM
📍 Where: Papacitas Restaurant (6704 S Broadway Ave, Tyler, TX 75703)
📋 What’s on the Agenda?
• Rule Changes & Clarifications: We will be breaking down the latest official club policies, clarifying tournament bylaws, and opening the floor for any new proposed rule changes. Bring your questions so we can ensure fair and smooth weigh-ins for everyone!
• Meeting Attendance Pounds: Remember, just by showing up and being present at this regular monthly meeting, you automatically earn 3 vital meeting pounds toward your Angler of the Year total standings! Every pound counts, so don't leave these points on the table.
• Lake Tyler Strategy & Details: We will also be setting up weighmasters for Lake Tyler and we will be locking in the exact ramp details and final timeline logistics for our upcoming November 7th and 8th tournament out of Lake Texoma. Come swap strategies and talk patterns with the group! Grab some dinner, talk some fishing, and let’s make sure everyone is dialed in on the rules before we hit the water.

Hope to See everybody Lake Tyler next Month, and a reminder due to the current water levels at Sam Rayburn and some enthusiasm from the members at the meeting we have move our November two day tourney to Lake Texoma.

Results are in for August Tourney. Super tough fishing, so tuff several didn't show up.

Lake Fork 2026 Results are in, started out a nice day and by Lunch the Heat was on. Thanks to everyone that came and fished with us, look forward to seeing everyone next month.

1st Place J.W. Parker w/ 10.49lbs [email protected]

3rd Place Tyler Smith w/ 6.40lbs

Half Weight pot was a tie Paul Gibbons over the weight by .295lbs and Riikina Langford .295 under the 5.245lbs. According to SECTION E:
The Payout For Half Weight will payout 1 spot to whoever catches half or closet to half the weight of 1st Place that does not place in the top 3. In the event of a tie. It will go to the closet under the half weight. If both are tied under the half weight. It will be a coin flip. So winner of the half weight pot is Riikina Langford w/ 4.95lbs who I'd also like to mention out fished her hubby in the same boat....
