Excited to launch the process of a Parks Master Plan with the City of Bellaire, Texas! As always public input will be a key factor in developing the roadmap for a Master Plan to guide improvements and development over the next 10 years.

A park master plan creates a roadmap for how a community will grow, gather, and connect for years to come. It ensures investments reflect real needs, real voices, and a shared vision for the future.

MHS was proud to partner with the City of Belton to develop a Parks, Recreation, Trails and Open Space Master Plan shaped by extensive community engagement — including months of resident input, hundreds of survey responses, and multiple public meetings.

The result is a strategic framework guiding park improvements, trail expansion, and recreational opportunities across Belton over the next decade.

Because strong communities are built through intentional planning.

Volunteer team Wednesday was 🔥! We loved being able to serve alongside leaders in the parks industry and meet and greet so many of you this week.

Institute and expo Tuesday is in the books! Had a blast at the golf tournament and ran into lots of friendly faces ( parks crew and to name a few!) Also won the longest drive and poker hand competitions! A pretty great start to a great week!
Today we will be volunteering at checkin and in our exhibit booth ( #227). Come say hi!

Can’t wait to see friends and colleagues at the 2026 TRAPS State Danny Boykin Memorial Golf Tournament next Tuesday. William will be representing MHS, so expect lots of fun and some very mediocre golf 😜!
