Over ten years ago, Carol Weisman assembled a mastermind group of nonprofit consultants. This week, we finally got back together after COVID disrupted our routine.

It's hard to put into words how much I've learned from this group.

Carol Weisman is one of the most clever, quick-witted people I've ever met and still as sharp as ever.

Cris Wineinger has so much wisdom and is a master of taking something complicated and drilling down the the core.

Rachel Muir is one of the most passionate advocates of philanthropy I've ever met and the ultimate cheerleader for professional fundraisers.

Patrick Willis has done so much it's hard to highlight any one thing but there may not be a better person to lead a relationship mapping exercise.

Honorable mention to Michael Daigneault who wasn't there but deserves to be included for the vast governance knowledge he has brought to the table over the years.

Today marks the beginning of PATH Week! Love supporting an organization that has done so much for our neighbors in need and their plans for the next 40+ years. Looking forward to the PATH Week Luncheon tomorrow.

Today was the East Texas Crisis Center’s Voices of Hope Luncheon. We heard a powerful and moving message from the speaker Lt. Mark Wynn. It’s rewarding to work with an organization who is stepping up to do this hard work in order provide safety and hope to many families in our community.

Started the morning at the Health Foundation of East Texas award celebration with some really great organizations doing work to connect young people to their communities.

I was there especially to celebrate the East Texas Symphony Orchestra and the grant they received to help connect more young people through their education programs and Link Up concerts.

Proud to be there cheering on ETSO and excited to see the students that’ll benefit from this opportunity! 🎶
