For more than 35 years, Strategic Resources, Inc. (SRI) has been honored to serve military service members, veterans, and their families. Through our work supporting behavioral health and wellness programs, we have seen firsthand the importance of mental health resources and the power of human connection.

This Su***de Prevention Month, we want every veteran, service member, military spouse, family member, and friend to know one thing:

You are not alone. Help is available. Hope is real.

"When it is darkest, we can see the stars."

– Ralph Waldo Emerson

September is recognized nationally as Su***de Prevention Awareness Month, a time to remember those we have lost, support those who are struggling, and raise awareness about the importance of mental health and su***de prevention.

Su***de affects individuals, families, and communities in every corner of our nation. Many of us know someone who has faced a mental health crisis or have experienced the heartbreak of losing a loved one. That is why conversations about mental health matter. By talking openly, listening without judgment, and supporting one another, we can help break the stigma that often prevents people from seeking help.

At SRI, we believe that asking for help is one of the strongest and bravest things a person can do. No one should have to face life's challenges alone.

For veterans and military families, support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through the Veterans Crisis Line. Whether you are in crisis yourself or worried about someone you care about, compassionate and confidential help is only a call, text, or chat away.

This month, and every month, SRI stands alongside our military and veteran community. Together, we can foster understanding, reduce stigma, recognize warning signs, and remind those who may be struggling that their lives matter.

Hope begins with a conversation. A simple check-in. A willingness to listen. If you are struggling, please reach out. If someone you know is struggling, let them know they are not alone.

Together, we can save lives.

On August 29, 1916, Congress established the United States Marine Corps Reserve, creating a force that has answered our nation's call for more than a century.

Today, proudly honors the nearly 100,000 Reserve Marines serving in communities across the country and the 155 Reserve Training Centers that help keep our Corps ready for any mission. For generations, Reserve Marines have stood shoulder to shoulder with active-duty forces, strengthening the reach, readiness, and resilience of the Marine Corps. Their service and sacrifice have been instrumental in every major conflict since World War I.

As an organization that proudly employs veterans and military spouses and supports the military community through technology, mental health, and family readiness programs, we deeply appreciate the dedication of these citizen-Marines who balance service to both their communities and their country.

To all who have served and continue to serve in the Marine Corps Reserve, thank you for your commitment, courage, and sacrifice.

Happy Birthday, Marine Corps Reserve, and thank you for your service.

Soar High on National Airborne Day

Some people are comfortable keeping their feet firmly on the ground. Airborne Soldiers answer a different calling.

On August 16, 1940, 48 courageous volunteers at Fort Benning, Georgia, took a leap into history when they became the first U.S. military members to parachute from an aircraft. Their jump marked the birth of America's Airborne forces and the beginning of a legacy defined by courage, commitment, and sacrifice.

Today, on the 86th anniversary of that historic milestone, we celebrate and honor the men and women who have earned their wings.

At , we are especially proud to recognize the many veterans, service members, and military families who are part of our community. We salute the Airborne Soldiers who willingly step into uncertainty, trusting their training, their teammates, and their mission. Their bravery, resilience, and unwavering dedication help safeguard our nation and protect the freedoms we cherish every day.

To all who have worn Airborne wings, past and present: thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your willingness to leap where others would hesitate.

Today, we recognize the legacy of the U.S. Department of War (DoW), one of the nation's original executive departments and a cornerstone of America's military history.

From its establishment in 1789 until its reorganization into the Department of Defense in 1947, the Department of War played a critical role in shaping and supporting our nation's armed forces. Through times of conflict and peace, it helped build the military institutions, traditions, and operational foundations that continue to protect our country today.

At SRI, we are proud to support the military community through our commitment to veterans, transitioning service members, military spouses, and their families. Their dedication, leadership, and sacrifice inspire our mission and strengthen the work we do every day.

As we reflect on the history and legacy of the Department of War, we also honor the generations of service members and civilians whose contributions helped safeguard our nation and preserve the freedoms we enjoy today.

Thank you to all who have served, supported, and sacrificed in defense of our country. Your legacy continues to inspire future generations.

Today, August 7, we observe Purple Heart Day, honoring the brave men and women of our Armed Forces who were wounded or made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our nation.

The Purple Heart is unlike any other military decoration. It is not awarded for rank, achievement, or time served. It is earned through courage, sacrifice, and a willingness to put others before oneself in defense of our freedoms.

First established by George Washington in 1782 as the Badge of Military Merit and revived in 1932, the Purple Heart has been awarded to more than 1.8 million American heroes throughout our nation's history.

At SRI, our commitment to veterans and military families extends far beyond words. It is reflected in the people we hire, the partnerships we build, and the mission we proudly support every day.

To all Purple Heart recipients: your sacrifice is seen, your service is honored, and your legacy will never be forgotten.

Today, we encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect on the extraordinary men and women who answered the call to serve and who carry the enduring impact of that service. Their courage and selflessness are what make them true heroes.

"Pro Deo et Patria" – For God and Country

Some heroes carry weapons. Others carry hope.

For over two centuries, the U.S. Army Chaplain Corps has served alongside America's Soldiers, providing spiritual care, guidance, and support wherever duty calls. Since its founding on July 29, 1775, this small but extraordinary branch has been present in every U.S. conflict, helping service members navigate both the challenges of war and the burdens of everyday life.

Army Chaplains serve people of all faiths, offering counsel, comfort, and encouragement when it is needed most. Their presence reminds Soldiers that they are never alone, whether facing deployment, personal hardship, or the demands of military service.

At , we are grateful for the dedication of the chaplains who strengthen the moral, spiritual, and emotional resilience of our military community every day.

To the Army Chaplains who faithfully serve our Soldiers and their families: thank you for your compassion, leadership, and unwavering commitment to those who protect our freedoms.

The transition from military service to civilian life is not always easy. In fact, many veterans identify finding meaningful employment as one of the greatest challenges they face after leaving the military.

On this , we recognize the incredible talents, leadership, resilience, and dedication that veterans bring to the workforce. Their experience working in high-pressure environments, adapting to change, and leading with integrity makes them invaluable members of any team.

At , supporting veterans and military families is more than a hiring initiative. It's part of who we are.

As a premier federal contractor, we are proud to create meaningful career opportunities for veterans and military spouses. Hiring those who have served our nation is one small way we can honor their sacrifice, commitment, and continued desire to make a difference.

Looking for your next mission?

If you're a veteran exploring new career opportunities, or if you know someone who is, we invite you to join a team that is deeply committed to supporting our military community. Together, we can continue building a future that reflects the values of service, dedication, and excellence.

This year marks a historic milestone as our nation celebrates 250 years of independence.

For two and a half centuries, America has dreamed together, stood together, and persevered together. Through every challenge and every triumph, we have remained grounded in the enduring promise of being the land of the free and the home of the brave.

At , we honor the brave men and women who have dedicated their lives to protecting that promise. Their service and sacrifice make it possible for all of us to live, work, and thrive in freedom.

As we gather with family, friends, and community this Fourth of July, we are reminded of the history, resilience, and shared values that unite us. It is a time to celebrate, but also a time to reflect on the meaning of freedom and the responsibility we all share in preserving it.

In this special 250th year, we invite you to pause during the celebrations and remember those who have defended our nation and continue to serve today. Their courage is the foundation of everything we celebrate.

May the words of our National Anthem inspire us, and may the spirit of unity guide us as we continue striving toward a more perfect union.

July is Social Wellness Month, and it’s a powerful reminder that connection matters.

At its core, social wellness is about the relationships that shape our lives. It’s about the people we lean on, laugh with, grow alongside, often...our co-workers. It’s built through meaningful conversations, active listening, empathy, and truly showing up for one another.

This month, take a moment to reflect:
🔹 Do you have a strong support system?
🔹 Are your relationships uplifting and positive?
🔹 Do you feel a sense of community and belonging?

The truth is, the people around us play a critical role in our wellbeing. Strong, healthy connections can reduce stress, ease anxiety, and even improve physical health. In the workplace, supportive relationships with colleagues and mentors help create balance, purpose, and resilience.

At , we are proud to support the social wellness of our team, especially our veterans, military spouses, and the broader community we serve. Your connections matter. You matter.

This month, we encourage you to take action:
🔹 Reach out to someone you haven’t talked to in a while
🔹 Strengthen a relationship that means something to you
🔹 Build a new connection
🔹 Find moments to laugh and share joy

How are you celebrating Social Wellness Month?

Share with us in the comments. We’d love to hear how you are prioritizing connection this month.

Dads are often our first heroes, our teachers, our steady source of strength and wisdom. They are the ones we look up to, learn from, and turn to for guidance, support, and laughter. Whether they are cheering us on, offering advice, or simply being present, their impact shapes who we become in lasting ways.

This Father’s Day, we celebrate the fathers, mentors, and remarkable individuals who uplift, guide, and inspire confidence each and every day. Their influence is not measured by grand gestures alone, but by the consistent love, patience, and dedication they show over time.

At , we know that father figures take many forms. They may be dads, stepfathers, grandfathers, uncles, mentors, or trusted role models. What unites them is their willingness to show up with care, strength, and encouragement, helping others grow and succeed.

We encourage you to take a moment to celebrate and appreciate the fathers and father figures who have supported and inspired you. Happy Father's Day!
