Did you know women have stood in service to our nation since before America was even a country? For generations, they answered the call, often without recognition, until finally being officially acknowledged as service members and Veterans in 1948.

Today, their legacy continues to grow stronger. Women now make up 20% of new recruits, 16% of active-duty forces, and 19% of the National Guard and Reserves. More than 3 million women have served our nation since the American Revolution, each with a story of courage, resilience, and sacrifice.

On June 12, we pause to honor these remarkable women: those who served, who led, who fought, and who came home forever changed. Women Veterans are more than a statistic, they are a powerful community built on trust, shared experiences, and an unbreakable bond of service.

At SRI, we are proud to stand alongside the women who have defended our freedoms and continue to inspire us every day.
