Jacobszoon and Associates, Inc. has opened a satellite office in Rocklin, California, expanding our service offerings to central California!

Service offerings include:
● Forest Resource Management
Four Registered Professional Foresters (RPFs), managing over 20,000 acres of private non-industrial forestland throughout northern California, with clients including but not limited to: private non-industrial forestland owners and ranchers, industrial timber management companies, Timber Investment Management Organizations (TIMOs), non-profit organizations, and government agencies.

● Biological & Botanical Resource Management
More than 16 years of supporting private, non-profit, and public projects with biological and botanical research, surveying, and assessments.

● Fire Risk Assessment & Mitigation
Specialization in post fire appraisals, emergency notice of timber operations, oak woodland management plans, CalVTP proje cts, hazard tree assessments and mitigation, forest fire prevention exemptions, and utility right-of-way exemptions.

● Environmental Compliance & Permitting
Extensive experience developing and/or implementing Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreements (LSAA), CEQA Initial Studies, CEQA Mitigated Negative Declarations, CEQA Notices of Exemptions, CEQA Environmental Impact Reports, storm water pollution prevention plan development and monitoring (SWPPP), Clean Water Act 404 permits and 401 certifications.

While performing California Red-legged frog surveys in various watercourses within Mendocino and Sonoma Counties, our staff Biologists have been finding many Foothill Yellow-legged frogs instead!

Appropriately named for its yellow legs and underbelly, this frog species normally frequents sunny forested, woodland, or chaparral habitat in rippled, rocky-bottomed watercourses. However, this frog can also be found in shaded pools fed by streams or springs, as seen in the photos above.
