Good early morning, folks. I normally don’t speak much about other people’s work, but I’ve started noticing a concerning trend in the small engine repair world.
A lot of people are offering repairs by simply throwing parts at equipment instead of properly diagnosing the problem first. Not only can that cost you more money in the long run, but it also creates more downtime when the real issue never gets fixed. I’m also seeing a lot of cheap, low-quality parts being used.
I’m not against aftermarket parts at all — some are great — but you have to do your research and make sure you’re using quality components.
I’m not saying you have to choose me, but whoever you trust with your equipment, make sure they take the time to properly diagnose and repair it instead of just being a “parts slinger.”
If you’re paying $40 for a repair, there’s a good chance that equipment may end up in another shop before long. Save yourself the trouble and invest in quliety work , , ,
